OVERSIZED MASONRY UNITS
EPIC Series is the newest addition to Johnson Concrete’s complete line of masonry products. EPIC Series is designed as a larger, more versatile masonry unit for large-scale architectural projects. Because they are larger, these units offer the architect greater latitude on masonry design.
EPIC Series units are larger than standard cmu’s, by 25% and more, depending on the shape and configuration. Finished weight is less than comparable units through the use of a special molding technique that hollow cores each unit. EPIC Series masonry units are designed as non-load bearing units and are applied as a veneer to a concrete block wall backup.
